Title: Developing Alternative and Effluent Sewers for Communities (for board members, county sanitarians, plumbing contractors)

Description: Review alternative technologies that can be used to develop a community wastewater system. The use of Septic Tank Effluent Pumps will be emphasized. Pointers on the steps to develop a STEP based or effluent community system will be discussed, inlcuding gaining public buy-in and funding to build your project. A representative from a leading private company will participate and share real life experiences with building such systems for rural communities and county subdivisions.
A manufacturer respresentative from Orenco has been invited to present information about the company's experience with the development of community effluent systems, including hints to make such projects successful.
